Todd McDevitt is a member of <strong>the</strong> Product Str<strong>at</strong>egy and Planning Team<br />

<strong>at</strong> <strong>ANSYS</strong>, Inc. and has more than 10 years experience in designing and<br />

developing commercial CAE software. His areas of expertise include<br />

nonlinear finite element analysis, linear dynamics, and multibody<br />

dynamics. At <strong>ANSYS</strong> his efforts are directed towards facilit<strong>at</strong>ing <strong>the</strong><br />

company's R&D planning process, <strong>the</strong> annual alloc<strong>at</strong>ion of funds for<br />

product development, and <strong>the</strong> str<strong>at</strong>egic decision-making associ<strong>at</strong>ed with<br />

company-wide product and technology objectives. Mr. McDevitt received<br />

his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from <strong>the</strong> University of Michigan and<br />

holds a Professional Engineering license in <strong>the</strong> St<strong>at</strong>e of Michigan.<br />

<strong>ANSYS</strong> Mechanical Products Upd<strong>at</strong>e<br />

Mr. Pawlak has over 25 years of experience in software development. He<br />

obtained bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering <strong>at</strong><br />

West Virginia University. Mr. Pawlak has worked for <strong>ANSYS</strong>, Inc. since<br />

March 1984. At <strong>ANSYS</strong>, Inc. Mr. Pawlak has developed simul<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

technology in a variety of simul<strong>at</strong>ion areas including electromagnetic<br />

fields, stress analysis, optimiz<strong>at</strong>ion methods, contact mechanics, and<br />

multibody dynamics. He currently helps guide <strong>the</strong> design and<br />

development of <strong>ANSYS</strong> Workbench.<br />
