Dr. Hörmann is the simulation engineer at CADFEM GmbH for product
LS-DYNA & ANSYS/LS-DYNA since 2003. He passed with distinction in
civil engineering at the University of Stuttgart (1992) and holds degree
(Ph.D) at the Institute of Structural Mechanics from University of Stuttgart
(2002).
New trends in portable electronics
Germano Freitas graduated in Mechanical Engineering (1997) and holds
degree (Ph.D.) in Naval Engineering (2003) at the University of São
Paulo (USP). Germano has over ten years of experience in numerical
simulations and mechanical testing. Nowadays he is the Technical
Manager of the Mechanics Group at the Nokia Institute of Technology
(Brazil) and coordinates a multidisciplinary team working on international
projects focusing on the mechanical reliability of electronic components.
Numerical Simulations at MWM-International Motores
Luiz Fernando Raminelli studied Aeronautical Engineering at ITA (1983)
and holds degrees from UFSC and UNICAMP. He has 24 years of
experience in the aerospace, machinery and automotive industries.
Raminelli is currently the Engineering Design Supervisor at MWM-
International Motores. He coordinates the Advanced Analysis and
Simulations area at the Engines Design Department.
