Let’s get the party started
The new pro_cee’d glows with anticipation. It urges the eyes
to hurry across the dynamic silhouette with the distinctive
narrowing window pointing upwards like a wing. Then it’s
time to take in the strikingly bold rear lamps, which
connect the side profile with the wide, muscular rear.
Everything points to a thrilling ride.

So get behind that wheel and check out the beautifully
crafted interior, because the performance is about
to begin. In the limelight here: premium materials,
soft-touch surfaces, comfortably stylish
upholstery and many unique details
like the fintail door handle.

Drum roll for high tech
With so much technology on board, you’ll be expecting plenty
of encores for your journey. Blame it on the sporty three-dial
instrument cluster with TFT LCD display, which holds the handy
trip computer.
Or on the audio sound system with CD and MP3 player pumping
music through six speakers. Plug in your iPod or use the USB
slot for your music files.
The optional audio system with a 4.3" TFT LCD display can
be combined with a rear-view camera to help you park your
pro_cee’d (if you really have to). However, if you choose the
latest 7" touch-screen full-map navigation system, getting
lost is no longer an option.

The new Kia pro_cee’d offers two refined petrol
and two diesel engines to get you in the right mood
for driving. Both engine types are available as 1.4 and
1.6-litre models with a power range from 90 to 135 PS.
Innovative weight-reducing measures ensure high fuel
efficiency, especially when fitted with our innovative
start/stop technology (ISG): the engine is automatically
turned off when it’s idle and your foot is off the clutch.
As soon you continue the journey, the engine restarts. ISG is
part of the optional EcoDynamics Pack, which also includes a
gear-shift indicator and energy-saving tyres to help you drive
more efficiently.
If you like a responsive drive, you’ll love the optional dual-clutch
transmission (DCT) on the 1.6-litre direct-injection petrol
engine. It allows you to change gears like a racing driver
via the handy paddle shifts on the steering wheel.

You can never have too much of a good thing.
Whether it’s your favourite band, a great ride, or
being in safe hands. That’s why the new pro_cee’d
offers plenty of smart technology to help you avoid
danger. For example, the optional Lane Departure Warning
System alerts the driver when you veer off course. Should
things get hairy, active safety technology ranging from ABS
and ESB (Electronic Brake Force Distribution) to VSM (Vehicle
Stability Management) assists you all the way.
For your convenience, there’s even an electronic parking brake
replacing the traditional lever with a button. The pro_cee’d
can also be fitted with a Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS),
which does the parking for you. All you need to do is adjust
the speed and change gears accordingly. That’s music to
everyone’s ears.
