EXPERIENCE INNOVATION
The progressive lens as unique
as your customers

e 4ty+ ® HDQ – Experience innovation
The interaction of sophisticated technologies creates a customised lens architecture. Design the lens based
on individual parameters and using QUBE, COD, NZP and FMAT technologies. This combination produces
an optimal and customised vision experience.
QUBE ® Calculation Technology
QUBE is an innovative calculation tool.
In addition to SWISS HD technology with 40,000 calculation points, QUBE can include the measuring
points of hyperbolic and spherical front surfaces in the calculation and optimally combine them with the
individualised back surface. QUBE uses all the optical parameters to decide whether the be 4ty+ HDQ is
produced with dual side or full back side
Every point on the front surface is in direct relation to the opposite point on the back. Combining these
two three-dimensional surface geometries is what makes QUBE innovative.
Advantages
• Top image quality
• Largest possible usable visual zones
• Optimal binocular vision
• Edge zones perfected
• Extremely thin surface design
• No more 'swim' effects
COD ® – Consumer Oriented Design
COD gives you the option of optimising the design of the be 4ty+ HDQ to suit your customer's lifestyle.
The surface astigmatisms are positioned in the opposite direction to the preferred visual zone.
We recommend that you use the Optiswiss iPad advisory app.
FAR – F
The surface astigmatisms are positioned downward.
Design variant D has been specially developed to
make full use of distance and mid-range vision.
BALANCE – B
Balanced distribution of surface astigmatisms
Design variant B has been developed for perfectly
balanced vision in all three distances.
NEAR – N
The surface astigmatisms are positioned upward.
Design variant N has been specially developed to
make full use of near and mid-range vision.
Advantages
• Choice of design according to your customer's
visual habits
• Increased visual comfort in the prioritised
distance
• Distinguishing feature compared with
conventional lens designs
• Use the Optiswiss iPad advisory app to create
the vision profile

NZP ® – Near Zone Positioning
Optimise the near zone by determining the channel length based on behaviour-oriented downgaze and
individual convergence (inset) with our OS Centering system. The ideal NZP is calculated automatically by
QUBE. In the case of special visual needs, the inset can also be specified manually.
Advantages
• Behaviour-oriented downgaze taken into
account
• Innovative option to personalise the near zone
• Individual inset information possible for Right
and Left
OS Centering – The iPad
centring system from Optiswiss
Measure all the required parameters (including NZP) for
ordering lenses and export the data to your Optiswiss
online ordering portal.
Contact the Optiswiss hotline for further information.

FMAT ® – Frame Matching Technology
With FMAT you can select the optimal base curve for the selected spectacles while not compromising on
optical performance. The base curve can be varied +/- 1.0 dpt. from the automatically calculated base curve.
QUBE recalculates the design based on the selected base curve. The base curve for orders without FMAT
information will be defined by QUBE.
Ordering information:
Always measure the base curve of the frame with a spherometer calibrated for index 1.523.
• In the natural head and body posture as well as in the zero vision direction, the centering crosses
need to rest in the middle of the pupil.
• Use our OS Centering system to measure all parameters.
