The above petition was considered at Cabinet Member (City Development) on 16 th July, 2012.<br />

The decision is outlined below:<br />

The Cabinet Member (City Development):<br />

1. Noted the concerns of the petitioners.<br />

2. Approved that officers carry out a thorough investigation into the options available to the<br />

Council as outlined in section 2 within the report.<br />

3. Approved that a further report setting out the results of these investigations is brought to<br />

the Cabinet Member (City Development) meeting in November 2012.<br />

As the <strong>Petition</strong> Organiser, if you consider that the Council has not dealt with your petition properly<br />

(except those petitions which are dealt with by the Planning, Licensing and Regulatory<br />

Committees) you have the right to request the Council's Scrutiny Co-ordination Committee to<br />

review the steps that the Council has taken in responding to the petition. It is important to note<br />

that this is not an appeal against the decision. It only relates to the way your petition has been<br />

handled by the Council,<br />

If you wish to request such a review of the process, you should write to the Council's Scrutiny<br />

Officer no later than 10 th August, 2012 setting out the reason(s) why you consider such a review<br />

should be conducted.
