Your Foundation, Our Foundation Corporate Social Responsibility Program Friends of the Maya Foundation began over a decade ago with the purpose of giving back to the community while at the same time providing our multicultural visitors the opportunity to engage in sustainable development ventures and relief actions in the nearby Maya villages. Our community development projects include: ➘ Reforestation projects ➘ Beach cleanup projects ➘ Healthy eating habits workshops ➘ Waste management and recycling ➘ Environmental education workshop ➘ Physical education training sessions ➘ Medical visits for children and elderly ➘ Endangered species protection projects ➘ Women equity and empowerment projects At the foundation we have ongoing projects that can be funded directly: Our program offers the local people workshops, improvements in community infrastructure and training for different skills, focusing on Health, Education and Environmental Protection. You can contribute to fund totally or partially projects and infrastructure services by participating in any of our community experiences. You will enjoy several activities focused on providing wellness to the Maya village of your choice. Through our Corporate Responsibility Program, we seek an empowering interaction that favors sustainable development at the villages, and protects the environment through an adequate community development. Our community experiences include: ➼ Visit a Maya village near Cancun/Riviera Maya ➼ Learn Maya and Spanish, and teach English ➼ Prepare your own traditional Maya meal ➼ Learn and work at the community fields ➼ Engage in activities with the children ➼ Gardening and painting of murals ➼ Enjoy local ecotourism attractions ➼ Embellish parks and common areas ➼ Work in maintenance or infrastructure ➼ Bring goods and supplies for the people ➼ Give and assembly bicycles for children In 2014, Friends of the Maya Foundation received over 40,000 USD in donations. You too can give back to the community by joining us at Friends of the Maya Foundation. You will gain media exposure and you can also request a tax-deductible invoice for the total of the donation. You will also receive a detailed report of how the funds are being used. Garcia-Solana, managing director for the Our foundation is being successfully led by Mariana Foundation. She is an Environmental Impact Evaluator with a degree in Environmental Education and Sustainable Development. With 10 years of field experience, she has lived and worked with different Mayan villages in the area in order to help them improve their quality of life. Contracting & Payment Contracting For guaranteed quoted prices: 1) Please note that VIPEVENTSCUBA sends a proposal as per requirements. However, any of the suggestions are reserved until a written confirmation of every activity is received, and therefore all services proposed are subject to space availability. 2) Reservations of services are made as soon as the confirmations by client are received, either partially or for the entire program. 3) When there is lack of space, the VEC Program Executive will present other suggestions to substitute such an activity. 4) Group schedule of activities or Purchase Order (P.O.) authorizing VEC as your official DMC is required. 5) VIPEVENTSCUBA Cancun will issue a Contract of Services for the activities and services confirmed by Client detailing guarantees, prices, inclusions, schedules, as well as a general summary of estimated expenses as per guarantees. 6) An initial refundable deposit is also required to help us in reserving services with suppliers: Number of Guests Amount Required Up to 199 Guests. " $100,00 USD p/p Over 200 Guests " $200.00 USD p/p 7) VIPEVENTSCUBA guarantees its prices as the best cost- value in the market. The prices given in this proposal are guaranteed for the requested dates and are valid for up to 90 days. After this period, if the group has not been confirmed to VIPEVENTSCUBA yet, it is possible that a review of some or all prices may be necessary. Liability Insurance a. Vendors/providers´ insurance policies will apply. b. In case that their coverage is not enough, then VIPEVENTSCUBA’s own insurance policy of US$2M will be applied. Payment & Deposits Deposits are required to ensure contracted services with our suppliers. This will be noted on the Services Contract. c) Deposits and final payment can be covered by a wire transfer, or credit card. d) Balance due may be covered upon the arrival of the Client’s representative or at a Pre- Con Meeting. e) Final invoice should be revised and signed by the Client’s representative before departure. f) In case of any charge in dispute, this will be pulled out of the final billing until its complete settlement agreed upon by both parties. g) Charges to credit cards are subject to bank commissions: 4.5% for Visa or MasterCard 6.5% for American Express h) Deposits and payments should be made payable to: VIPEVENTSCUBA.COM Accounts i) Due to Fiscal regulations regarding foreign deposits and payments we prefer to receive funds via wire transfer.
