Gratuities for VEC Staff
According to our Philosophy of providing
Inclusive Prices to prevent additional charges that
may not be considered within the group budget
and to avoid surprises at the time of billing, all
activities and tours recommended by VEC in a
Proposal of Services already include an adequate
gratuity for suppliers.
However, a gratuity for VEC’s staff is not
included, amounts are normally left in cash at the
conclusion of a program, however, to comply with:
Mexico’s new federal laws regarding salaries
went into effect
the international anti-bribery rules submitted
to our Company by one of our clients and
international standards for gratuities increased
from 18% to 20% for group services
As well as to foster an atmosphere of transparency
and regulatory compliance, while still allowing
our staff to be recognized for their good service, we
have established a % request for staff gratuities
in our proposals. This is to be charged in the final
invoice according to the % agreed on by our Client.
It can be 5%, 10% to 15%, or an open amount.
Cancellation Penalties
Cancellations
a) Penalties are assessed in accordance with each
of our supplier's policies with written notification
made 120 days to 48 hours in advance.
b) Accurate policies will be specified in the
Services Contract as per type of event.
c) VIPEVENTSCUBA is only an intermediary
between the optional tour excursions, site
trips, and water sports, and shall not be
liable for any injuries, damages, losses,
expenses, accidents, delays, inconveniences,
or irregularity arising from or relating to the
above mentioned activities.
d) VIPEVENTSCUBA acts as an intermediary
between the transportation companies and
the Client. All services are pre-arranged
and subject to vendor’s cancellation policies.
Airport Transfers
Applicable for Pre and Main Arrivals:
1. Flight changes must be coordinated with our
Event Coordinators and/or Airport Supervisors.
2. Delays may be subject to additional charges
(according to time elapsed) which will be
informed on site.
3. In order to avoid penalties for changes due
to flight cancellations or missed connecting
flights VIPEVENTSCUBA must be notified at
least 3 hours prior to original scheduled flight
arrival time, otherwise the below charges will
apply:

Applicable for Post-Arrivals (during and after
Pre- Con):
1. In order to guarantee and secure the
right transportation, all flight changes for postarrivals
must be notified daily to our Event
Coordinator by no later than 5:00 P.M.
2. Flight changes notified after 5:00 P.M. will
be subject to vehicle availability.
