SECTION 4. FIRST AID MEASURES<br />
4.1. Description of first aid measures<br />
EYES: Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Rinse cautiously with water for 15 <strong>min</strong>utes. Seek medical<br />
attention.<br />
SKIN: Remove conta<strong>min</strong>ated clothes; wash off any skin conta<strong>min</strong>ations with soap and water. Launder<br />
conta<strong>min</strong>ated clothes before re-use.<br />
INGESTION: Get prompt qualified medical attention. If conscious, give 1-2 glasses of water with absorbent carbon.<br />
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Keep in warm and at rest. Give oxygen or artificial aspiration if needed. If<br />
symptoms persist seek medical attention.<br />
FIRST AID MEASURES: absorbent carbon, saline purge.<br />
4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed<br />
EYES: Could cause irritant or burn effects to the eyes.<br />
SKIN: Could cause irritant effects to the skin. No delayed symptoms after washing conta<strong>min</strong>ated skin.<br />
INGESTION: May cause nausea. May cause GI tract irritation.<br />
INHALATION: Dust may cause irritation to mucous membranes and respiratory system.<br />
4.3. Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed<br />
No special antidotes. If case of ingestion wash mouth with water and give plenty water to drink. Get medical<br />
attention if needed.<br />
SECTION 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES<br />
5.1. Extinguishing media<br />
This product is a nonflammable substance. However, hazardous decomposition and combustion products may be<br />
formed in a fire situation. Cool exposed containers with water spray to prevent overheating. Extinguish fire using<br />
agent suitable for type of surrounding fire and/or chemicals. Do not use water directly on material. Heat is<br />
generated when product mixed with water.<br />
5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture<br />
No special hazards.<br />
5.3. Advice for firefighters<br />
Respiratory and eye protection are required for fire fighting personnel. Avoid breathing corrosive vapors.<br />
