The sole clamping action of the horizontal clamping<br />
system ensures the pushing down and clamping of the<br />
workpiece to be machined.<br />
The tip of the clamp is composed of three clamping parts :<br />
one rigid part and two exible parts.<br />
The clamping of the workpiece can be broken down into three<br />
phases :<br />
Contact : the exible parts of the clamp<br />
make contact with the workpiece to be clamped.<br />
Pushing down : the exible parts clamp the<br />
workpiece, pressing it down until it makes contact with<br />
the rigid part.<br />
Clamping and positioning : the rigid part<br />
of the clamp clamps the workpiece in place.<br />
Horizontal clamping systems can be adapted to all<br />
types of T-slot or modular tables, and provide a<br />
clamping force of up to 12000 N.<br />

The system leaves the top surface of the<br />
workpiece completely clear, thus allowing machining<br />
over the entire surface of the workpiece and<br />
ensuring there is no risk of interference with<br />
tool movement.<br />

adjustment time.<br />
The clamps ensure that mounting is stable, robust<br />
and fast, and reduces workpiece changeover time.<br />
