We utilize hot formed ballistic steel technology for our armored vehicles:
an overtly armored military patrol vehicle for staff and infrastructure
protection and peacekeeping missions; a covertly armored version for
diplomats, aid workers, VIPs and other high-risk individuals. Vehicles
conform to the BRV 2009 VR7 standard.

Jeep® J8 ~ Armored Vehicles
Features and Variants
The armored Jeep® J8 utilizes innovative hot-formed ballistic steel technology to create two armored vehicles:
• A discreet variant tailored for the protection of diplomats, aid workers and VIP escort duties.
• An overtly armored variant for military and peacekeeping missions. Both J8 variants are certified by Germany’s Beschussamt: BRV 2009 VR7
ballistic protection; underbody, roof and side blast certification to ERV 2010.
Rather than create an armored patchwork beneath the vehicle “skin,” J8 entirely replaces the body with hot-formed ballistic steel shaped to the
precise contours of the original vehicle. The advantages of hot-formed steel technology include lower curb weight, reduced risk of penetration
from welds and joints, improved structural integrity and lower acquisition and life cycle cost.
In addition, doors mounted directly to reinforced steel pillars avoid door sag and glass damage.
