Armored - Patrol & Discreet Variants<br />
We utilize hot formed ballistic steel technology for our armored vehicles:<br />
an overtly armored military patrol vehicle for staff and infrastructure<br />
protection and peacekeeping missions; and a covert or discreetly armored<br />
vehicle for diplomats, aid workers, VIP’s and other high-risk individuals.<br />
Vehicles conform to the BRV 1999 standard.

Features and Variants<br />
<strong>J8</strong> armored vehicles are the first to replace body, doors and door pillars with a hot formed ballistic steel shell to reduce weight and risk of<br />
penetration:<br />
• Armored Patrol vehicle is overtly protected and features unique rear swing doors for easy entry and exit<br />
• Discreet Armored vehicle features tinted glass, AM/FM CD radio and mimics the civilian <strong><strong>Jeep</strong>®</strong> Wrangler<br />
Standard equipment includes a heavy-duty front axle to raise GVW to 3,864 kg, air conditioning, dual AGM 12 V batteries with four outlets,<br />
lashing rings for cargo tie down, and floor mats. Standard vehicle glass is replaced by multi-laminate polycarbonate glazing.<br />
