International Chili Society (ICS)
sanctioned chili cook-off in
its parking lot. Limited public
tastings available. A non-ICS
sanctioned “People’s Choice”
chili cook-off also happens in
two North Conway locations,
featuring chefs vying for the
People’s Choice award. Tastings
happen at the Flatbread
Company/New England Ski
Museum at Eastern Slope Inn,
and Rafferty’s Restaurant and
Pub. North Conway village
businesses offer chili-inspired
sales, products and/or samplings.

Maple Weekend
March 24 – 25 • Statewide.
During March, over 50 sugar
houses across New Hampshire
open free to the public. Visitors
tour maple orchards and sugar
houses to learn how syrup is
made. Free samples of maple
products and pancake breakfasts
offered. Activities include
sap-gathering with horses or
oxen, a sap-gathering contest,
hay rides and barnyard tours.
