Confirmation<br />
This weekend will see a number of boys from<br />
<strong>Waverley</strong> <strong>College</strong> both Junior and Secondary<br />
schools making their Sacrament of Confirmation.<br />
This Sacrament is a public acclamation of their<br />
Catholic faith. We would to extend our best wishes<br />
to al the boys involved.<br />
Changes for End of Term 2<br />
There will be some staff changes for the end of<br />
the term with a number of teachers on leave. Miss<br />
McKay, Mr Gill and Mr Harris will be on leave till the<br />
end of the term. We have been able to secure the<br />
services of some of regular casual teachers to fill in<br />
the next few weeks.<br />

Prayer for the Week<br />
On Sunday 27th, Christians<br />
will celebrate Pentecost,<br />
the feast held 50 days after<br />
Easter. We give thanks to<br />
God for the gift of the Holy<br />
Spirit. The coming of the Holy<br />
Spirit gave courage to the<br />
frightened disciples. They<br />
went out to tell others about<br />
Jesus. The Holy Spirit helps<br />
us to carry on the work of<br />
Jesus and gives us new life.<br />
God of Peace,<br />
We pray that our Church will<br />
be guided by the Holy Spirit<br />
and that all Christians will live<br />
in peace, united by the Holy<br />
Spirit.<br />
We ask this through Christ our<br />
Lord,<br />
Amen.<br />
