The labeling <strong>requirements</strong> described herein will take effect upon receipt of this document. The <strong>packaging</strong><br />
<strong>requirements</strong> described herein, for new <strong>supplier</strong>s or product, will take effect upon receipt of this<br />
document. For current <strong>supplier</strong>s <strong>and</strong> current product, <strong>supplier</strong>s are “gr<strong>and</strong>fathered” <strong>and</strong> will supply<br />
current product in their current form. At such time as the CVG Packaging Engineer determines, current<br />
methods of <strong>packaging</strong> will be reviewed with the <strong>supplier</strong> in accordance with this document.<br />
The purpose of this specification is to provide <strong>requirements</strong>, guidelines, <strong>and</strong> clarity to the <strong>packaging</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />
labeling needs of CVG Global Truck Division <strong>supplier</strong>s.<br />
This specification applies to all <strong>supplier</strong>s (both external <strong>and</strong> internal) to a CVG plant within North America.<br />
1.4 Delivery Performance<br />
A <strong>supplier</strong>’s conformance (or non-conformance) to this specification has a direct result on that <strong>supplier</strong>’s<br />
Delivery Performance PPM rating.<br />
1.5 General Statements<br />
a. This document applies to all products shipped to a North American CVG plant.<br />
b. In this document the word SHALL refers to a required action, <strong>and</strong> the word SHOULD refers to a<br />
recommended action.<br />
c. Compliance is m<strong>and</strong>atory, unless on a case-by-case basis an exception is warranted.<br />
