Unlike many other independent schools, we have made a special effort to ensure that our fees, as far as<br />

possible, are all inclusive with no hidden extras and cover tuition for all subjects, text book hire, subject<br />

resources, excursions, camps, swimming programme, buses to sport, annual year book, entry into University<br />

of NSW English, Mathematics & Science competitions, Eisteddfod entries, visiting artists, all other<br />

curriculum related activities and many co-curricular activities.<br />

CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT DEPOSIT (GST $650.00 per child Refund conditions<br />

does not apply) payable when place is offered to confirm enrolment.<br />

Refundable upon written request when student leaves the <strong>College</strong>,<br />

providing there are no monies outstanding. If student leaves the<br />

<strong>College</strong> without one full term’s notice being given in writing or if the<br />

student does not start at the <strong>College</strong> at all, the deposit will be retained<br />

apply* see note below<br />

Payment Conditions: There are four terms per year and tuition fees are payable on the due date each term<br />

to be eligible for the discount. The due date is usually within the first two weeks of each term. An<br />

additional administration fee will be applied to the parent account in the case that the account is not paid in<br />

full by two weeks after the due date. This fee may be waived where the parent has made contact with the<br />

<strong>College</strong> and where a mutually agreeable payment plan has been agreed upon and is being met.<br />

<strong>Fee</strong>s for students enrolled after the end of Week 5 in any Term will be charged at 60% of the tuition fees for<br />

that Term.<br />

*Confirmation of Enrolment Deposit—is payable for each child as they are enrolled at the <strong>College</strong>. It is<br />

refundable on written request as each child leaves the <strong>College</strong> (Subject to all debts being cleared and<br />

<strong>College</strong> property being returned). At least one full term’s notice in writing must be given of a student’s<br />

intention to leave <strong>Coomera</strong> <strong>Anglican</strong> <strong>College</strong> unless they are graduating at the end of Year 12. Failure to<br />

comply with this condition will result in the Confirmation of Enrolment Deposit being retained by the<br />

<strong>College</strong>. When a student is asked to leave the <strong>College</strong>, the deposit is not refundable. If a family has<br />

accepted a place and the student does not commence at the <strong>College</strong>, then the deposit will not be refunded.<br />

Other discounts which will apply include:<br />

� Sibling discount - 5%/10%/20% based on 2 nd , 3 rd and 4 th child respectively.<br />

Please inquire for examples of sibling discount combinations.<br />

� Building Levy Discount - If there are more than two children in a family, the maximum payable will<br />

be 2½ times building levy ($375.00 per term).<br />

<strong>Fee</strong>s Payment Options:<br />

� Cheque/Cash.<br />

� Visa/Mastercard/Amex—by phone or in person or via NSIPS (National Transact Internet Payment<br />

System) – ‘Pay fees icon on the <strong>College</strong> website www.cac.qld.edu.au , or alternatively complete and<br />

return the payment slip on the rear of the fees statement and <strong>College</strong> staff will process the payment.<br />

� Debit card—must be in person.<br />

� School Plan - a monthly payment plan - see brochure in Prospectus


<strong>Fee</strong>s Information<br />

Upon Confirmation of Enrolment, parents will be asked to read and sign an Enrolment Contract to<br />

ensure that there is understanding and agreement about some basic <strong>College</strong> policies before making a<br />

final commitment. Some of the items in the contract which may be of interest to prospective parents<br />

prior to registration are below:<br />

Registration <strong>Fee</strong>, Enrolment Deposit & Foundation Levy<br />

� Upon signing this Agreement the parents shall pay to the <strong>College</strong> a non-refundable Registration <strong>Fee</strong> of $80.00 (including<br />

GST) per child and upon the offer of a place, an Enrolment Deposit of $650.00 per child (GST free), refundable only<br />

upon written request at the time the student exits the <strong>College</strong> and when a term’s notice is given; and a Foundation Levy of<br />

$100 per child (including GST) which is non-refundable. A request for a refund of the Enrolment Deposit must be made<br />

within 2 years of the student withdrawal or it will be forfeited.<br />

� In the event of an enrolled student not taking up the place, the enrolment deposit will be forfeited. The Foundation Levy<br />

is refundable at this point.<br />

� If a student breaches the college code of conduct and is asked to leave the <strong>College</strong>, the enrolment deposit is forfeited.<br />

Tuition <strong>Fee</strong>s and Other Charges<br />

� The parents shall pay to the <strong>College</strong> in such manner and at such time as the <strong>College</strong> shall stipulate the amount of fees and<br />

other monies payable to the <strong>College</strong> as determined from time to time.<br />

� In the event of the whole or any part of the tuition fees and other charges by the parents to the <strong>College</strong> remaining unpaid<br />

for any period in excess of four weeks from the date upon which the same had become due and payable, then, any fees<br />

concessions granted to the parents for that term may be withdrawn.<br />

� An administration fee of $100 will be applied to the parent account in the case that the account is not paid in full by two<br />

weeks after the due date. This fee may be waived where the parent has made contact with the <strong>College</strong> and where a<br />

mutually agreeable payment plan has been agreed upon being met.<br />

� The parents specifically acknowledge that in the event that any of the monies due and payable by them to the <strong>College</strong><br />

remain outstanding and unpaid for a period in excess of six weeks from the due date for payment, then the <strong>College</strong> shall<br />

be entitled by notice in writing to the parents at the address specified above, to terminate the enrolment of the student<br />

from the <strong>College</strong> and the <strong>College</strong> shall be wholly discharged from all its obligations under this agreement.<br />

� Where a student is enrolled up to the end of the fifth week of the term the full term’s fees shall be charged. After the end<br />

of the fifth week, 60% of the term’s fees will be charged.<br />

Miscellaneous<br />

� The parents are expected to support the philosophical and educational policies of the <strong>College</strong>.<br />

� The parents and the student are required to observe the rules and regulations of the <strong>College</strong> as may be in force from time<br />

to time.<br />

� The parents shall provide the <strong>College</strong> with all information regarding the student including all academic information,<br />

current school reports (if any) and all medical and other reports. The parents shall advise the <strong>College</strong> of any disability or<br />

impairment which currently affects the student or which might affect the student in the future. The <strong>College</strong> reserves its<br />

right to request further information regarding the student including all academic information, school reports (if any) and<br />

all medical and other reports. The <strong>College</strong> reserves the right to cancel the enrolment if the <strong>College</strong> perceives an inability<br />

on its part to adequately meet the needs of the student.<br />

� The parents acknowledge that the Principal has authority to apply to the student disciplinary measures in accordance<br />

with the <strong>College</strong> Behaviour Management Policy or to terminate this Enrolment Agreement for any cause judged by<br />

him/her to be sufficient, and if the student is so removed or the Enrolment Agreement is so terminated no refund of<br />

tuition fees will be made.
