Mike and Elaine Adler give so much, but they love more. I am blessed to experience them living their

Mike and Elaine embody what positive psychology calls “the meaningful life”. Their greatest source of
pleasure comes from their allegiance to things that are beyond themselves….their beliefs, their causes,
their politics…the list goes on. In all of this, they have not forgotten their family, nor even the causes of
others. But they believe deeply and passionately in doing good with what their talents and good fortune
have brought their way. They have reached out, supported, and enriched the lives of so very many.
Through their Center, Mike and Elaine have changed the world of aphasia, and people who cannot
speak for themselves. But the breadth of their contributions to the bigger world are just as palpable and
meaningful.
