Entries Close 31st May 2013. Open to ages 18 months – 15 years
ANZ Zoo month colouring competition conditions of entry:
1. Instructions on how to enter and claim your prize form part of
these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged between 18 months
and 15 years as at the closing date of the promotion. Employees of
Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary
and other entities associated with this Promotion together with
their immediate families and members of the household of those
persons are not eligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 9.00am on the 1st May 2013 and
closes at 5.00pm on the 31st May 2013 (‘Promotional Period’).
Judging will take place at 9.00am on Friday 7th June at Melbourne
Zoo, Elliott Avenue, Parkville, Vic 3052.
4. To enter, eligible entrants must, within the Promotional Period
colour in the picture on the reverse of this entry form and post your
entry to “ANZ Zoo Month Colouring Competition” Melbourne Zoo,
Elliott Avenue, Parkville Victoria 3052. The Promoter will not be
responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
5. Each entry will be individually judged based on creativity
and artistic merit. You may only enter once. Winners will be
notified by phone and confirmed via mail. All entries become the
property of the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
6. There will be nine prize winners in total. There will be two winners
in each age category and one major prize winner. For the avoidance
of doubt, the overall major prize winner be selected first and will
not be eligible for a category win. Age categories are 18 months
– 4 years, 5-7 years, 8-11 years and 12-15 years. Each age category
winner in the 18 months to 4 years will receive a family day pass
for Zoos Victoria and a merchandise pack valued at $80. Each age
category winners in the 5-7, 8-11 and 12-15 years will receive a close
up animal encounter for four people. Each package is valued at
$80.00. The major prize winner will receive 2 adult memberships
valid for 12 months if the winner is aged between 18 month – 4
years or an animal “Behind the Scenes” experience valued at $400
if the winner is aged 5 -15years. Age restrictions apply to some
animal encounters and “Behind the Scenes” experiences. The total
maximum prize value of all prizes is $1040 including GST.
7. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
If any of the prizes are not available for any reason whatsoever, the
Promoter will substitute another prize, at its absolute discretion.
The claiming and collection of prizes by the winners will be subject
to verification checks of the winners names and ages at the absolute
discretion of the Promoter.
8. ANZ reserves the right to rejudge in the event of an entrant being
unable to satisfy these competition conditions or forfeiting or not
claiming a prize. For any prize that remains unclaimed or forfeited
through ineligibility or otherwise 31st August 2013, ANZ will award
the prize to the entry deemed to be the next best entry. The winner
will be notified in writing immediately.
9. To the extent permitted by law, ANZ, the Promoter, its franchisees,
employees and agents associated with this promotion shall not
be liable for any losses or damages, injuries, costs and expenses
suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect
or consequential loss), as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way
connected with this promotion and/or its prizes.
10. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage
whatsoever resulting from incorrect details lodged by entrants.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the rules of any
competition or any prizes offered or cancel the competition if it is
no longer able to run the competition due to reasons beyond its
control, subject to state legislation. The Promoter will not be liable
for any losses to any party arising from any variation or cancellation.
12. Ownership of all material will rest with ANZ and both Zoos
Victoria and ANZ may use the entrants names, addresses and
photographs for promotional and publicity purposes (unless
otherwise requested) without any payment being made.
