speak abom Jesus' return. Most of
those who do preach on chis subject
often bring discred it on themselves and

they have no Biblical basis whatever.
Their particular exposition of this subject
is so obviously in error that the

Gibbon, in the fifreenth chapter of his
authorirarive The Dec/;1Ie and Fall of

standard work on this period of history
-admits that the doctrine of Christ's
second coming to earth was eaughe as a
FACT by rhe early Christian church. He
states: "The ancient and popular doctrine
of the Millennium was intimately
connected with the Jecond coming of
Christ. As the works of the creation had
