IBC Inspection & <strong>LANL</strong> Requirement1) <strong>Quality</strong> Specific<strong>at</strong>ion 01- 4000. Subcontractor must submit a schedule of tests andInspections per Section 1.4C. Engage a qualified , <strong>LANL</strong> Building Official (LBO)approved testing agency to perform quality control services. Reference <strong>LANL</strong>Engineering Standards Manual (ESM) Chapter 16 for further inform<strong>at</strong>ion.2) Onsite Welding Requirements / Specific<strong>at</strong>ion, 01 4455. All welding and joining mustbe performed by <strong>LANL</strong> Certified welders and brazers who have demonstr<strong>at</strong>ed theirwelding/brazing skill by test <strong>at</strong> <strong>LANL</strong>.3) Consumable welding m<strong>at</strong>erials are supplied by <strong>LANL</strong>. Reference <strong>LANL</strong> EngineeringStandards Manual (ESM) Chapter 13. (1-03, Welding& Brazing M<strong>at</strong>erial Procurement&Control).4) Offsite Welding and Joining shall be in accordance with Spec 01-4444. Use <strong>LANL</strong>approved IBC Fabric<strong>at</strong>ors. As found condition of the M & TE equipment must besubmitted to the project for review upon completion of work. Any rework orrepairs as a result of out of calibr<strong>at</strong>ed equipment is the subcontractorsresponsibility.
