There is no “retroactive” registration! If you have registered a non-creditinternship, it is impossible to change to a credit bearing option and vice versa.A convention de stage (French internship contract) will only be issued before the internship is to begin, but after the internshiphas been registered and conditions indicated are met.An incomplete grade (IN) will show on your transcript until all your assignments have been evaluated by your faculty reader.No diplomas/proof of graduation can be provided to students holding an incomplete grade! However holding anincomplete grade will not prolong student status!An internship for 8 credits can be maximum 9 months long! If an enrollment certificate is needed for the semester followingthe semester of registration (for insurance, housing, etc.), graduation deferment and re-registration of the same internship for0-credits (no fee) are recommended.You must provide proof of relevant health insurance coverage for the whole period of the internship (validity dates), indicatingcountries where coverage is applicable.If you are not an EU citizen, your carte de séjour must be valid for the duration of the internship in France. If your CDS orhealth insurance expires during the internship, this will be mentioned in your convention de stage and it is your responsibility toinitiate the renewal process as soon as it is possible.For internships outside of France, it is advisable to verify whether proof of student status and a relevant visa will be required.We also recommend obtaining appropriate health insurance, unless covered under the employer’s health plan during theinternship.While pursuing an internship, the student agrees to adhere to the company/organization’s guidelines for employee behaviorand the University’s standard of conduct at all times.
