The Rampf Formen service centre always
endeavours to assist the customer in the
safe handling of the various Rampf products.
The functional and technical variety
of the Rampf concrete block moulds requires
well-founded know-how on the part of the
service team. All Rampf service employees
have many years of professional experience
in the use of Rampf moulds in block
plants by all manufacturers, which are in
use worldwide.
“The constant contact and exchange of
experience with our customers and the
manufacturers of block plants help us to
react fast and to give assistance with any
enquiries,” says Development Manager
Andreas Wörz. As early as the development
phase of the products, care is taken at
Rampf Formen that simple and safe use is
ensured. To this end, various mounting options
for suitable lifting devices are attached
to the mould systems. The Rampf service
team assists the customer with advice and
action from the idea to the finished concrete
block.

Rampf Formen GmbH from Allmendingen is a leading brand manufacturer of steel moulds for the concrete block industry and attaches great
importance to the safe handling of the products that leave the works. The legally prescribed operating manuals, which are supplied with each
Rampf product, additionally provide tips on the safe transport, correct installation, care and maintenance of the respective concrete block
mould.

in the respective national language assist
the customer in the correct use and handling
of Rampf products

An important service instrument is the written
operating manual supplied by the manufacturer
in the respective national language.
This assists the customer with the correct use
and handling of Rampf products. In the
instructions, which are supplied with every
Rampf product, the buyer obtains detailed
information on all life phases of a mould:
from the manufacture of the mould and the
correct transport to the connection to the
respective block plant. For mould systems
with hydraulic or pneumatic driving devices,
such as folding wall moulds, dosing
box moulds or mould upper parts with filling
compensation, the operating instructions
contain clear descriptions and circuit diagrams
for the correct connection to the ma -
chine. Such mould systems are equipped
with proximity switches (limit switches),
which supply the necessary status signals to
the machine controller (PLC). The operating
instructions ensure that no damage occurs
to the mould or machine units during production.
The illustration of safety-relevant information
about operating sequences in the instructions

is an important contribution to work safety.
The process reliability of the mould system
in combination with the block plant is hence
increased by descriptive operating instructions.
Expensive losses of production and
disruptions of the overall plant process are
avoided as a result.
On top of that, the various operating
instructions are a good basis for a company’s
internal employee training courses. In
addition, expert service tips on care and
maintenance enable increased performance
and, hence, a longer service life for
concrete block moulds.
