Programme OverviewIntroductionWe would like to extend a very warm invitation to you to attend IPEM’s annualMedical Physics and Engineering Conference, and the Biennial RadiotherapyPhysics Conference, in Oxford from the 10th – 12th September 2012.Invited and eponymous speakers in this year’s programme include Prof SirMuir Gray, Prof Lionel Tarassenko, Dr Eric Drexler, Mr Jim Warrington, and ProfSue Hill, the Chief Scientific Officer. The scientific programme will provide threeparallel sessions, including joint sessions with the Institute of Physics MedicalPhysics Group and the British Nuclear Medicine Society, as well as educationalworkshops, and sessions on planning and training the future workforce, and onscience communication. There will also be an extensive commercial exhibition,and a poster area featuring posters covering all IPEM disciplines.
