From the annual report <strong>of</strong> the following schools<br />
you will note that <strong>Notre</strong> <strong>Dame</strong> was FIRST in Total<br />
Amount Contributed (even excluding the $1,000,-<br />
000 gift fi-om Mrs. Fisher) and FIRST in the Aveiage<br />
Alumnus Gift. Noti'e <strong>Dame</strong> was tied for<br />
SECOND in the Percentage <strong>of</strong> Alumni Contributing.<br />
The Total Number Giving and the Total<br />
Amount conti'ibuted to Noti'e <strong>Dame</strong> included gifts<br />
from both Alumni and Friends <strong>of</strong> the Universitj'.<br />
However, the total amount did not include $407,-<br />
305.70 conti'ibuted for Research Fellowships and<br />
Grants or Gifts <strong>of</strong> Equipment valued at $84,800^.<br />
