<strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> – The Art of Watchmaking at the highest<br />
precision level<br />
For over 35 years, <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> AG has been creating wrist watches in Switzerland.<br />
With a love of detail and a lot of feeling for aesthetics, the Manufacture’s<br />
philosophy is reflected in each exclusive product. Today, <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> is concentrating<br />
on its own, in-house production of watch movement components, which<br />
are manufactured in a painstaking, manual process. In 2011, the company<br />
presented its second, self-developed hand-winding calibre, in the form of the<br />
AMW11.<br />
The Biel company ranks among the few manufacturers, who still process their<br />
watches by hand, decorating them in minute detail. Behind every timekeeper<br />
from <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong>, lies a demanding and value-adding process. This is where the<br />
art of true watchmaking is celebrated and real quality becomes the centre of<br />
attention. A team of specialists, employing richly detailed manufacturing<br />
processes, is continually generating unique and durable value from noble materials<br />
and with the highest of precision.
<strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> watches stand for quality, scrupulousness and attention to the<br />
minutest detail. The watch Manufacture’s partners also work to the same strict<br />
principles. Last year, <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> AG became the Official Timing Partner for the<br />
Marussia F1 Team. This year, it has committed to a new sponsoring arrangement<br />
with GAC Pindar.<br />
As one of the world’s leading, independent sailing teams, in <strong>2012</strong>, GAC Pindar<br />
Sailing Team is taking part in the famous Extreme Sailing Series, a sailing competition<br />
at the highest level. Since 2007, this high-tempo and attractive-to-watch<br />
racing style has been regularly drawing audiences from all around the world.<br />
<strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> and the young GAC Pindar Sailing Team both stand for the same<br />
values: Innovation, Pioneering Spirit and Precision.<br />

Formula 1 and the sailing sport not only involve <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong>’s shared commitment,<br />
but both types of racing have much in common technically. Neither can do<br />
without the high-tech carbon material, which is also an important component of<br />
the ARMIN Racing Carbon watch with the new ARM12 calibre. This model stands<br />
for <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong>’s commitment to sports racing.<br />
Through technical achievements and the use of new materials in watch movement<br />
construction, the present success story of <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> will continue in<br />
<strong>2012</strong>. The ARMIN STROM One Week Collection has been optimized with a series<br />
of specific adaptations. The ARMIN Manual Collection now offers an optimized<br />
watch movement with a more efficient power flow.<br />
The company is managed by CEO Serge Michel and Head of Product Development,<br />
Claude Greisler. <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong>, the company’s founder, retired from active<br />
duties within the company in the autumn of 2011.<br />

ARMIN Racing Carbon<br />
<strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> is strongly involved with sports racing through its sponsorship in<br />
Formula 1 and Extreme Sailing. Shared values such as precision, innovation and<br />
technology make up the front-line focus. With the new ARMIN Racing Carbon, a<br />
watch has emerged that gives full expression to this partnership. In order to<br />
allow the integrated carbon components maximum visibility, the decision was<br />
taken to forego extra functions with the new ARM12 Manufacture calibre. The<br />
ARMIN Racing Carbon is available in a limited series of 50 pieces and immediately<br />
expands the ARMIN Racing Collection.<br />

ARMIN Manual Collection – New Generation<br />
The ARMIN Manual Collection with its own in-house produced AMW11 calibre is<br />
presented in its latest execution, displaying many detailed improvements. In the<br />
development of the new generation, the focus was on the individual elements of<br />
the watch movement, to ensure that the exclusive <strong>Armin</strong> <strong>Strom</strong> series includes<br />
the state of the art technology. The readapted gear-train guarantees an even<br />
higher efficiency level. In order to minimize the power loss within the watch<br />
movement, the integration of the escapement has also been improved. As is to<br />
be expected of a traditional Manufacture, the hand-finishing of the movement<br />
decoration is of the highest quality. The noble, highly attractive dial with its new<br />
multi-level structure, offers the watch greater depth. The ARMIN Manual Collection<br />
clearly strives for technical and aesthetic perfection in every model and is<br />
available in a limited series of the four elements: Earth, Water, Air and Fire.<br />

ARMIN One Week Collection – New Generation<br />
ARMIN One Week Collection, equipped with the first hand-wound ARM09<br />
calibre, which has been fully produced in its own Manufacture, displays its truly<br />
exclusive inner workings.<br />
The Biel-based traditional manufacturer has now perfected its successful<br />
collection with the hand-assembled calibre and its various improvements. A<br />
new skeletization of the bridge structure makes the differential gearing clearly<br />
visible. In addition, the power transmission within the watch movement has<br />
been optimized by appropriate adjustments. The newly developed dial has<br />
several levels, giving the watch greater depth. Like its predecessor, the latest<br />
generation of the ARMIN One Week Collection is available in a limited series of<br />
