Ergonomic layout of lift,lower and horn buttons delivercomfortable operation. Largereversing switch on the end of thecontrol head changes travel directionif operator contact is made.Removable, soft grip, high-speedgrab bar (walkie/rider only) providesthe operator with a firm hold formaximum security and comfort. Acenter mounted control pod providesefficient operation of lift/lower, highspeed and horn functions. Standardcruise control on walkie/rider trucks isactivated by depressing the highspeedbutton on the grab bar. Thisallows the operator to maintain highspeedtravel, without the need to holddown the button, thereby reducingfatigue and improving operatingefficiency.Optional Coast Control feature allowstruck to coast for more efficient orderpicking. Can be actuated by either amanual toggle lever at the base of thehandle or by an electronic switchlocated near the butterfly speedcontrol. A switch convenientlylocated on either side of the controlhandle will activate the walkie/rider’soptional Sidetracker feature. All withstandard 27" wide fork spread.Proven push-type lift linkage designuses rugged 1 1 ⁄2" x 1 1 ⁄2" solid steel tierods that absorb high impact shockscaused by dockboards and dockplates.Alloy steel fork slides facilitatepallet entry and exit eliminating theneed for entry rollers or discs. Tierods are positively aligned and pinnedto eliminate the need for field adjustments.Full-length, angle ironreinforcements enhance torsionstrength for increased durability andlonger life.Wheels6" wide poly load wheels with stringguards offer increased floor surfacecontact and help prevent debris fromgetting into axles and bearings. Loadwheels swing through a small 7" arcto achieve a full 6" lift.Heavy-Duty Stability Caster DesignHeavy-duty, shim-free, polyurethanespring-loaded dual action castersmounted under the rider platformprovide maximum stability in unevenfloor conditions. Threaded fastenerdesign means adjustments are madequickly and easily.HydraulicsHeavy-duty integrated lift pump andmotor design features an overloadvalve to protect hydraulic components,and includes a hydraulic flowregulator and solenoid release valve.Drive Unit AssemblyQuiet, spiral beveled gear drivesystem with sealed ball bearings,provides solid performance with lowsteer effort. Five-nut removal of thedrive tire simplifies replacement whenneeded. Drive motor brushinspection is easily accessible.Separately excited drive motor withinternal fan provides improvedventilation resulting in betterperformance and lower overallownership costs.Ease of MaintenanceOne-piece cover with two-boltremoval makes access to the driveunit, and major components quickand easy.
