THE APPROPRIATION (VOTE ON ACCOUNT) ACT, 2001No. 70~20U1I[24th March, 200 1 .]An Act to provide for the withdrawal of certain sums from and out of theConsolidated Fund of India for the services of a part of the financial year200 1-202.BE it enacted by ~diamnent in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India asfollows:-1. This Act may be called the Appropriation (Vote on Account) ACt, 2001.2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of India there may be withdrawn sums notexceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule mounting in tho aggregate to the sumof one IaWl nineteen thousand four hundred and eleven crores and twenty lakh rupeestowards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during thefinancial year 2001-2002.3.
