Zurich, September 29, 2010 – <strong>Clariden</strong> <strong>Leu</strong> Ltd, one of Switzerland’s lead<strong>in</strong>g private banks, has<br />

extended its Middle East department <strong>in</strong> <strong>Geneva</strong>. Five new colleagues will re<strong>in</strong>force this strategically<br />

very important department for <strong>Clariden</strong> <strong>Leu</strong>.<br />

In August, Mar<strong>in</strong>a Straehler and Mohamed I. Mokhtar jo<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>Clariden</strong> <strong>Leu</strong>'s Middle East department <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>Geneva</strong>. Mohamed I. Mokhtar has over 18 years of experience as relationship manager and <strong>in</strong>vestment<br />

advisor cover<strong>in</strong>g the Middle East. Mar<strong>in</strong>a Straehler has over 25 years of experience <strong>in</strong> Private Bank<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>Geneva</strong>. They both jo<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>Clariden</strong> <strong>Leu</strong> from Arab Bank <strong>in</strong> <strong>Geneva</strong>.<br />

At the beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g of September, Tania Bajjali and Olivier de Kerizouët jo<strong>in</strong>ed the Middle East department of<br />

<strong>Clariden</strong> <strong>Leu</strong> based <strong>in</strong> <strong>Geneva</strong>. Mrs Bajjali has almost 20 years of experience with Middle Eastern clients<br />

and together with Olivier de Kerizouët, they will cover the Levant and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)<br />

clients. Both jo<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>Clariden</strong> <strong>Leu</strong> from Arab Bank <strong>in</strong> <strong>Geneva</strong>.<br />

As of December 1, 2010, Walid Gomaa will also jo<strong>in</strong> the Middle East department of <strong>Clariden</strong> <strong>Leu</strong> <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>Geneva</strong>. He has an extensive knowledge of the GCC and North African countries and is therefore a perfect<br />

match to support <strong>Clariden</strong> <strong>Leu</strong>'s emerg<strong>in</strong>g Middle East and North African bus<strong>in</strong>ess out of <strong>Geneva</strong>.<br />

All new colleagues report to Stéphane de Per<strong>in</strong>i, Head of the Middle East department <strong>in</strong> <strong>Geneva</strong>.<br />
