A Message from our PastorDear Friends,How Sweet It IsThere are over 400 reasons for you to be heretonight. They each have a name and a face. Andthey are God’s special creation; they are Children of God. Theyare the students of St. Gerald Elementary School. We take Pride inthem, for God has given them to us to form and love.We adults come to the Angel Auction to have a good timeand to share our God-given resources with these children. Itis an absolute joy for me to visit their classrooms, to celebratemass with them, to pray with them, to see them grow physically,emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. And each time one ofthese children discovers something new, learns a new concept,or memorizes a prayer they do so with your help. As a benefactor of St. GeraldElementary you make life happen at our school.Our Music Program has taken a leap forward this year. With a full-time musicteacher we have brought music into all grade levels and have expanded our publicpresentations. The Music Program has brought a whole new level of excitement into ourschool. However, there is no place for the program to call home. We want to remodelour stage to serve two purposes: as a stage when needed and as a music classroom. Thismeans providing a sound-absorbing movable wall, heating/AC upgrades, lighting improvementsand handicap accessibility. Your donations this evening will help accomplishthis. If the results of this evening’s festivities are sufficient we will continue toward payingoff our loan on the Middle School addition and Technology improvements.I thank you for coming to our Angel Auction. 2011 Guardian Angel Dinner & AuctionBIDDERS CAN CONTRIBUTE CASHAT SIX GIVING LEVELSWe are excited to continue a donation program introducedat the 2001 Guardian Angel Auction and Dinner. This programallows individuals to make cash donations at one of sixdifferent levels.At the end of the Live Auction, bidding will begin at the$1,000 Guardian Angel Level and proceed until all levels havebeen completed. Bidders can accept a bid called by the auctioneer,at any level, by raising their bid cards. Bid cards can also bedropped off at the cashier for processing later.
