Introduction• Formerly known as Halal Reference Centre.It was a vision and brainchild of theMalaysian Prime Minister. During theinaugural on 31st December 2008, 200visitors were recorded on the launch day• In Halal Master Plan Phase 1, it has beenrebranded as Global Halal Support Centre(March 2009)• By December 2010, Global Halal SupportCentre has received approximately 13millionvisitors from more than 100 countries.
