The PatientDemographics Consumer actor shall generate the query message whenever it needs to select from a listof patients whose information matches a minimal set of demographic data. The Patient DemographicsQuery is always targeted at a single source of patient demographic information (referred to in thisTransaction as the patient information source). A Patient Demographics Supplier may have knowledgeof more than one source of demographics. A Patient Demographics Supplier shall support at least onesource of patient demographics and may support multiple sources of demographics.
