There isa very positive mood throughout the club.Tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g is go<strong>in</strong>g well and this is shown bythe performances <strong>on</strong> match days. Both teammanagers, Gary Green and Paul Harris<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>are</str<strong>on</strong>g><str<strong>on</strong>g>do<strong>in</strong>g</str<strong>on</strong>g> a crack<strong>in</strong>g job, keep it go<strong>in</strong>g lads.This could possibly be <strong>on</strong>e of the best seas<strong>on</strong>sfor some time. It is also very encourag<strong>in</strong>g tosee the <strong>in</strong>crease <strong>in</strong> the numbers of spectatorswho attend <strong>on</strong> Saturdays.Our Junior Sunday side is <str<strong>on</strong>g>do<strong>in</strong>g</str<strong>on</strong>g> extremelywell and play<strong>in</strong>g some crack<strong>in</strong>g football,thanks to Ian Matthews, the Manager. Wellworth a visit <strong>on</strong> match days.At this juncture I would like to pay tributeto a l<strong>on</strong>g serv<strong>in</strong>g member of the club, whohas decided to call it a day. Bruce Hargreavesjo<strong>in</strong>ed the club <strong>in</strong> the late 50’s early 60’s andquickly became a major player <strong>in</strong> the fi rstteam. He eventually became Capta<strong>in</strong> and ledthe most successful side <strong>in</strong> the clubs history.After a l<strong>on</strong>g c<str<strong>on</strong>g>are</str<strong>on</strong>g>er ended he went <strong>on</strong> tomanagement and c<strong>on</strong>t<strong>in</strong>ued the success hehad achieved dur<strong>in</strong>g his play<strong>in</strong>g days.
