Wichman, Central Agricultural Research Center, Moccasin.All openers are "double-shoot" configurations w ith seeding rate at 60#/ac <strong>and</strong> fertilizer at 70#N, 40#P 2O 5, <strong>and</strong> 25#K 2O via blended granular fertilizer at 251#/ac.2Trials conducted in conjunction w ith "Fields <strong>of</strong> Tomorrow " show s in 1997 <strong>and</strong> 1998.3This trial had heavy volunteer barley pressure. Certain systems af<strong>for</strong>ding minimal soil disturbance produced higher w heat yields due to less competition w ith volunteer barley.4
