These ingenious ConnectedDrive innovations include helpful services such as the rain sensor and automatic headlight activation.So you’re always that much more relaxed when you’re in your BMW.Comfort Access, including exterior door handle illumination. This systemallows you to unlock, lock and start your BMW without inserting thekey. All you need is the remote control in your pocket, which transmitsan identifi cation signal to the car. Simply touch the door handle or bootlid and the BMW unlocks or locks as required. Similarly, a touch of theStart/Stop button is all it takes to start the engine.Rain sensor and automatic headlight activation. These featuresmake driving your BMW even more comfortable. The rain sensorautomatically controls the wipers, while automatic headlight activationswitches the headlights on or off depending on ambient light conditions.Park Distance Control (PDC). This allows for easy parking andmanoeuvring in confi ned spaces. Acoustic signals and a visual indicatorin the Control Display tell you when the front or rear of the vehicle isapproaching an object. Distances are measured by ultrasound sensorsin the bumpers.Revolutionising mobile networking.
