RELEVANT EXPERIENCE - MULTI RESIDENTIAL
Located on a tight inner-city corner lot in South Brisbane
bounded by Melbourne Street, Cordelia Street and
Fish Lane, the 10 storey mixed use building provides
boutique ground level retail spaces, with 9 levels of
accommodation consisting of 48 compact residential
units.
The architectural expression seeks to create a balance
between creating an identifiable, cohesive “whole” on
one hand and diversity and human scale on the other.
Local materials and scale reflect the fine grained detail
produced with the use of off-form concrete, timber,
brick and glass.
Subtropical design fundamentals include gardens,
northern orientation, flow through ventilation, natural
light & solar control, and large balconies.
