jail (built in 1864)
is the home of
the local museum
& archives. The museum hours are 10 – 4:30, Monday to Saturday and the
Archives are open Tuesday to Saturday 10 – 4:30, located at 97 Thomas Street
(closed statutory holidays). Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk on the
Napanee River or have a picnic at Springside Park with its lovely waterfall.
Shannonville Motorsport Park hosts both car and motorcycle races. From
April to October there are races for Supermoto-Bike, Superseries-Car and Street

Deseronto is just east of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, settled in 1784 by
the United Empire Loyalists and the Mohawks. Shop for authentic native crafts
and native Canadian art on the reserve. Come celebrate Canada Day on July lst
and the Waterfront Festival on July 1st and 2nd . Enjoy the Santa Claus Parade
on Saturday, November 26th at 6:30 pm.
