Addendum 1 to Memorandum of Understanding AmongMcNeese State University,Nicholls State University,Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College,Louisiana State University Agricultural Center,Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium,Southeastern Louisiana University,Southern University at New Orleans,Tulane University,the University of Louisiana at Lafayette,the University of New Orleans, andthe University of Southern Mississippito create theCoastal Restoration and Enhancement through Science and Technology(CREST) ProgramI. PurposeThe purpose of this Addendum to the original Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) isto enlarge the group of CREST institutions by adding Loyola University under Article Vof the MOU.II. AgreementThe signatories to this Addendum (the Signatories) agree to accept the participation ofLoyola University as a full partner in the CREST program. Loyola similarly agrees toaccept the provisions of the MOU and to work with the other members of the consortiumto promote the activities of CREST.______________________________________________________________________________Coastal Restoration and Enhancement through Science and Technology (CREST) Program 1

Addendum I: page 2 of 3III. Effective DateThis MOU will become effective upon signature by the authorized representatives fromthe named universities and institutions. Any signatory party may terminate theirparticipation in this MOU upon 60 days written notice to the Executive Board.
