For My People Testimonials before God once more. I asked that He forgive me for my persistence, and I told him that thistime I would use the Spirit of Prophecy for confirmation. I took two different books, and as Iopened them, the word “prophet” was written once more on one of the two pages.The next Saturday afternoon, I looked for a daily devotional book. I found one that was written in1975 (The Wonders of the Creation). I got on my knees and asked God for forgiveness oncemore. I told Him that this would be the seventh and last time that I would ask Him. I told Him thatthis time I would use the devotional book instead, and that if He confirmed once more that ErnieKnoll was His prophet that I would believe beyond all doubt and I would never ask Him again.I thought that it would be very difficult for the word “prophet” to appear in this devotional, sincethe book only talked about nature and animals. As I opened the book, many pages slippedthrough my fingers. Once I stopped and starting reading, I read the word “prophet” on one page.I was very excited and thanked God for His patience and for answering my petition.The next Friday I saw Laura, and I told her the way that God had answered me. I told her that Iwas sure that God had forgiven and restored Brother Ernie Knoll as His prophet. I asked her ifGod had also answered her petition. Laura answered no. She said that what she had askedGod was very difficult and that it would take a lot longer to answer.Many weeks later, I felt the sudden urge to write Brother Knoll an email. I had never written anemail before. I told him to continue on his path. I told him that I did not condemn him and for himto go and sin no more.Brother Knoll replied telling me how sad he had been. He said that he had asked God forforgiveness but that he did not feel forgiven. He told me that God had given him a dream inwhich he heard someone singing, and as he looked up he saw many angels singing that howeven though he had fallen, God had forgiven him and welcomed him back.That week when I saw Laura again I told her what had happened. When I finished telling her mystory Laura said to me, “Carmen, God has answered me, and Ernie Knoll is God’s true prophet.”I asked her to tell me what proof she had asked God for and why it had taken so long to answer.Laura replied, “I asked God that if Brother Ernie Knoll was His true prophet, that He would allowhim to repent, and that you would write him an email and he would reply telling you that he hadrepented. It's very interesting yetalarming at the same time knowing that God warns now the people to prepare for His sooncoming.
