My parents are peasants, and we entirely depend onanimals and crops for our family supplies, which sometimes is not reliable. As a result ofdrought, all our livestock died and crops failed, leaving us desperately in need. So I have beendropping out of school, because my father is not able to pay my tuition. I have joined him intaking our cows in search of green pastures.During a visit with a friend in our local town, I found access to the Internet. Through Googlesearch I found the For My People Ministry website, and my eyes and heart were drawn to theSabbath articles. After revisiting the website several times, I decided to write to Becky and Erniefor more explanation on the subject. They sent me two booklets by email: “Why God SaidRemember” and “Is Sunday Really Sacred?” These upset my former belief that all days are thesame. After checking hundreds of verses in my Bible, I was totally convicted that the seventhday is the Sabbath. I am not alone in this spiritual pilgrimage. My friend has joined me instudying and exposing this truth to others.Our first Sabbath service was held in our home with about six people attending, excludingchildren. My mother is yet to be convicted but ready to study with us. My father is not a memberof any denomination. Many people are interested in learning about our newly found truth despitesome discouragement from others. We have great hope for many to come into the truth of theBible and to come out of men’s traditions.We need your prayers for the Lord’s guidance and blessings as we strive to keep Hiscommandments in faith.
