For My People Testimonials I am writing this testimonial because Ernie’s recent dreams show that now is the time tosurrender our “treasures” to God, and I want to be a witness to God’s faithfulness. Some maysay that this testimonial is a fabrication, but it is entirely true!God has been good to me all my life. Following my parents’ example, I always gave a doubletithe and offerings as well. Giving was our way of life, and we always had enough—no luxuries,but enough!Reading brother Knoll’s dreams, I have been deeply impressed that Jesus’ coming is almosthere, and that I won’t retire, because Jesus is coming! As I pondered the implications andramifications of that truth, I thought about my modest retirement savings. Several things came tomind:• The unstable economic condition of the U.S. (recent banking crisis and stockmarket instability);• The people who lost their retirement money due to selfishness and fraud;• That my retirement money could disappear overnight;• Ellen White statements about money and the financial conditions of the last days;and• The increasing disasters that confirm the fragility of our lives.I weighed my fears of not having enough for future needs against the warnings of Jesus inErnie’s dreams that this is the end. I struggled with the phrase that Jesus repeats in thedreams: “Will I find faith?”After earnestly praying for guidance and reading the instructions from Jesus about where Hispeople should place their “treasure,” I realized that I had to make a decision. I could choose toallow God to increase my faith, or I could “play it safe” and never find out what God would do tokeep His promises. I decided to cash out my retirement and ask God to teach me to trust Him.After returning “Caesar’s portion,” I donated every penny to a worthy ministry.But this is not the end of the story! God has kept His promises and more. He did not justsprinkle blessings on me, but He is still pouring them, drenching me in His love, joy and peace.Even though I have no earthly savings, I have more income than I need. As if that weren’tenough, He recently offered me free housing, utilities and food! My situation may appear similarto that of a naked baby bird, but my Father in heaven is not only warming and sheltering mewith His feathers but also feeding me with His own hand. I have no regrets.Thanks for the latest dream - very powerful! I have been in a minority - even among presenttruthbelieving SDA's - holding that the LORD is using you, Ernie. My heart tells me that thesemessages WILL have an awakening effect on those who truly love our Saviour and wantnothing more than to follow Him to the end. The latest dream again confirms the truth regardingtithe - which I have believed and practiced for years now. I know that there will be souls wonthrough this ministry. Everything you recorded about the SDA church and its dis-services isabsolutely correct. My wife and I find ourselves staying home on Sabbath, because of theirreverence displayed in the local churches here - very much as described under the "blackcharismatic church" section of the latest dream.
