These services are not insured by MSP andphysicians are entitled to set their own fee for these services and charge patients privately.The OSMV will pay a set fee for the completion of certain driver’s medical examination reports.Forms will specify if the OSMV will reimburse or if the patient or their employer are to be billedthe entire fee. Forms reimbursed by the OSMV are paid through MSP Teleplan. While MSPTeleplan is acting as the processor for the OSMV, it is the OSMV who is paying for the service.For those forms reimbursed by the OSMV, physicians have three billing options:i) Bill OSMV through MSP Teleplan the OSMV Fee Amount.ii) Bill OSMV through MSP Teleplan and balance bill the patient the difference betweenOSMV Fee Amount and the total fee as determined by the physician.
