COLT HOLLANDC S LeidenRailway Station, LeidenA master plan was drawn up for thetransformation of the Leiden CentralStation and the adjoining neglectedland into a vibrant new high-densityneighbourhood, forging a connectionbetween the historic city centre to theSouth, and the Bio-Science district to theNorth. This was achieved by keepinglow street façades, attractive streetlighting, and retaining squares andgreen spaces.
