Included here are a series oftech tips to help you understand a Gill based solution to keep dry, warm andsafe while offshore racing.Layering is essential to make the most of your waterproof, breathable clothing.The first layer should be a wicking layer to keep you dry next to the skin.Gill’s RC Technical layer collection (example at left) is the idealsolution for a combination base/next to skin layer. Featuring 50+UV protection the RC Technical Layer features an ultra lightweightfabric that wicks away moisture from the skin. The ultrawick dry fabric features a soft comfortable handle that allows itto double as a base layer. Light weight and highly protective, theRC Technical Layer is a premium first layer for the active racerwhere protection, mobility and comfort are must haves.The second, the mid layer, is the insulating, warming climate control system.Gill’s Crosswinds (right) is a highly functionalperformance mid layer.
