PowerHopper Vario is upgradeable for capacities
of 100 to 622 Mbit/s, using the same 1U IDU,
supporting 1+0, 2+0, 4+0 (with optional XPIC,
Cross Polarization Interference Canceller
mechanism), 2+0 East-West, 1+1/2+2
HSB, and 1+1 HSB with space or frequency
diversity mode. Point-to-point, ring, star, and
cascaded chain topologies are supported.

Outdoor units (OU) exists for 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 23, 26, 28, 32,
38 GHz. All frequencies have same size OU unit.
1+0 mounting is part of antenna.

For Hot StandBy (HSB) configuration there is special mounting
“1+1 ODU Single Antenna Mount”. The two outdoor units are
mounted to it.
The 2+0 configuration look the same. The difference is that
there is own mounting unit “Dual ODU mount” used. It provides
connection to dual polarization antenna.
High Power outdoor units (HP OU) exists for 6, 7, 8 and 11 GHz.
High Power OU has 29 dBm output power (5 dBm)
The mounting is part of HP OU
All frequencies have same size OU units
HP OU has dual receiver so it has inbuild space diversity (SD)
capability. Normally two units are needed.
IDU consist of controller unit (IDC) on left and 1 or 2 modem
units (IDM)
IDM can have 1 or 2 STM-1 interfaceses; optical or electrical
• 28 MHz: 1 x STM-1 (128 QAM)
• 56 MHz: 2 x STM-1 (128 QAM) or 1 x STM-1 (16 QAM)
Optionally there is an IDM unit with 100BaseT + 8 E1
