His death is aloss not only among wide circles of friends, but also to hundreds of isolated menand women in prisons, cop bars, and courthouse offices, who don't know oneanother, but share the feeling that they've lost the one person in the world whoever took the time to really understand them.Dave Niblack was not the sort of person you want to leave behind; he was thesort of person you desperately hope you can bring with you.
IN MEMORY OF MICHAEL C. MORGAN, II(January 28, 1973 to February 16, 2001)Micbael C. Morgan II, a member of tbe class of 2001 , and a soldie r for justice,today, is a memo ry of courage, strengtb and determina tion. After a length y ill ness, Micbael's li fe abruptly ended. Michael to uched many lives, and he willnever be forgollen. At the UDC David A. Clarke School of Law, he served asSenator to th e SBA Student Bar Association), President of BLSA (Black LawStudents Association) and Barbri represent at ive. In the summer, he studiedabroad at tbe U ni versity of South Africa Scboo l of Law at Jo hannesburg, wberehe was also a journ alist for the African Africa n-A merican Press. Michael was astudy partner, poe t, and a fri end.M ichae l Morga n, graduated cu m laude from Winston-Salem State U ni versity,with a degree in Pol itica l Science. H e was also a member of the O mega Psi PhiFraternity. A ltbougb Micbael died in the last semeste r of his third year in lawschool, he was nevertheless award ed the degree of Juris D octor.To Michael's mother, Carol O.
