ADHD Notes on designationAttention deficit and hyperactive disorders are among the most commonly diagnosedbehavioural disorders in children and young people. In many cases the symptoms persist intoadulthood leading to severe detriment to their mental health and wellbeing.The two classifications for ADHD included for the questionnaire are the Diagnostic andStandards Manual IV (DSM-VI), including the three diagnostic sub-types and the InternationalClassification of Diseases – 10 (ICD-10). ADHD as an abbreviation relates to bothclassifications.Page 2
