Also, the Holy Family Chapel (votive candle room) is reserved for the disabled and theelderly.INFANT & CHILD CARE: Infant and child care (ages 6 weeks to 4 years of age) is providedduring the 9:30 am and 12 Noon Masses in the Preschool located in the Life Center.PARENTS ROOM: For the convenience of parents not using the Nursery during Mass, a glassenclosed area (this room is not soundproof) is available in the church.SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION AND HOME SCHOOLING: In accordance with DiocesanPolicy and the Bishop’s guidelines, parents who home school will be made aware of theirresponsibility to fulfill the same obligation as parents and students involved in the regularcatechetical parish program. The requirements include participating in weekly meetings set upthrough <strong>Christ</strong>ian Formation and, with reference to Confirmation, also include attending the FamilyHonor Program, accumulating twenty hours of community service, and attending a ConfirmationRetreat.BAPTISM: Parents who seek the Sacrament of Baptism for their children must have establishedactive membership in the parish for a minimum of three months and both parents must have attendeda Baptism Class prior to scheduling a baptism. To obtain more information regarding baptism or toschedule a baptism class, please call Sharon Willi, Director of Religious Education,at 971-8083.FIRST COMMUNION: Students preparing to receive the Sacrament of First Communion throughour <strong>Christ</strong>ian Formation Program must attend two full years of religious formation and adhere to theattendance policy where no more than 3 classes may be missed in any one school year.
