Library and departmentfor documents are central resources for knowledge creating (Jashapara, 2004).<strong>Knowledge</strong> organizing of knowledge management cycle refers to storing, recording, andpreserving knowledge in formats and frames which let other employees to regain it. In fact, knowledgeorganizing is prerequisite to knowledge sharing. In other words recording knowledge within foldersand intranets provides capacity for knowledge sharing.<strong>Knowledge</strong> sharing is the mutual knowledge flowing and scattering among people andmechanical and non mechanical bases for knowledge (Conner, 1996). In fact 90% of the knowledgemanagement success depends on right knowledge sharing. In other words, the effectiveness ofknowledge management cycle relies on the abilities of people for knowledge sharing. It should benoted here that culture has a significant role for a fruitful sharing of knowledge(Grant, 1997). Theestablishment of culture "sharing knowledge is power instead of knowledge is power", has a greatinfluence on the success of knowledge sharing in knowledge management cycle (Leonard, D. andSensiper, 1998).<strong>Knowledge</strong> Applying refers to appliance of knowledge shared, without any bias or prejudiceagainst one who is the source of it. This loop refers to blend of knowledge with action and itsemergence in company's goods or services (Kwakman, 2004).6. Importance and Necessity of the ResearchConcerning the importance of knowledge management and its benefits and advantages in thecompanies, this research centers on the survey of knowledge management cycle in a pioneer company(as a sample), that is IMRE. Then suggestions based on gained results presented in order forimprovements. Furthermore the model applied in this research can be used as a framework forknowledge management cycle survey in other organizations.As this research helps to know more about the knowledge management cycle, its loops, andother knowledge management related topics at IMRE, so it has cognitive functions.
