Outrigger Position Monitoring OSHA 1926.1416 (e)(5)

In response to OSHA Regulation1926.1416(e)(5)(i) regarding cranesand derricks in construction, GSNAhas developed the OutriggerMonitoring System (OSS).Outrigger position monitoring:• The OMS monitors the Out andDown deployment of the outriggersduring work mode including aninterlock for park brake activation.• The OMS has a crane/derrickenable to ensure safe positioning ofoutriggers before crane/derrick use.• During vehicle travel the OMSensures outriggers are Up and In –with audible and visual alarms forany outrigger movement or drift.• Precise outrigger position feedbackoptional.OSHA REG 1926.1416(e)(5)(i)“Outrigger/stabilizer position (horizontalbeam extension) sensor/monitor if theequipment has outriggers or stabilizers.”• IP67 sealed components• -40º to +150ºF operation• New or existing truck install• Multiple Kit Options• Optional level switch or sensor canensure the machine level ismonitored during all work functions.
