Packing AdviceOnBoard Clothing<strong>Atlantis</strong> emphasizes a casual, comfortable atmosphere with no specified dress code.Sportswear and casual resort attire are appropriate at all times. There are no formal nights, andabsolutely no need for a jacket and tie.Our only real rule is that no tank tops or shorts are permitted in any of the specialtyrestaurants at dinner. Please respect this rule for our premium dining experiences for all guests. The staff at these restaurants will ask you to change. On Shore ClothingPlan for warm, even hot weather with some cooler breezes at night. We recommendloose, comfortable cottons or other lightweight clothing. And don’t forget a hat! All ports arecasual with a beach-friendly attitude. We suggest beachwear and some really comfortableshoes. Some tours involve bus rides and/or considerable walking so comfort is essential.Allure Party ThemesOur theme parties might warrant something special, but these, of course, are alwaysoptional. You’ll be comfortable with or without an outfit. All listed events are outdoors, in theSolarium at night and Aqua Theater during the day.Mardi Glo Mash-up our classic Mardi Gras event and newly popular Shine partyto get the silliest, sparkly night you’ve ever seen. Ignite your imagination and think light-upparade, dazzling dancer, glowing accessories, and anything else that begets a bright fantasy.Tourists encouraged. Light-up spectacles abound.Into the Deep Embrace the mystery and myth of the sea with a shimmering party thatruns as deep as your imagination. Stout sailors, cryptic pirates, and underwater explorers meetsea creatures, mythical beasts, mermaids and more. Swimmers, native island inhabitants, andthe occasional lost cruise ship passenger welcome.White Party The longest-running, most popular, and most infamous party on the highseas continues into 2012. Dazzle us with your originality in the color that everybody looksgreat in.Dog Tag T-Dance Now that our military members can come out to play, we thought it’s timefor a little creative interpretation of how cleverly military uniforms can be adapted. Civilianswelcome. Dog Tags provided.Revival Classic Disco T-Dance The spirit of the 70s returns for two zany hours of retro funwhen we all had too much real hair and a fascination with artificial fabrics.Over the Rainbow T-Dance This one isn’t just about Dorothy or the last scary multi-colortube-top you saw at Pride. But that’s a start. Join us as a singular color from your own personalrainbow, an Oz-like inspiration, or the worst combination of colors you can pull together. Andif you’re just “over” the rainbow, come as you are and enjoy!4Miscellaneous Packing AdviceBring plenty of sunblock, as the sun can be deceptively intense. We always encourage you to join other guests for meals –it’s the best way to meet people! We will do our best to honor special seating requests.Dining NotesOur biggest and most important piece of dining advice: Avoid the Windjammer! Weknow that many of you rely on it for a quick meal, but on this ship there are so many otheroptions out there. You'll be happiest if you always look for another venue first. Trust us.All dining times are approximate, and will change slightly due to port times and onboardevents. Times are in the <strong>Cruise</strong> Compass.Updated restaurant capacity information is available on the WayFinder monitorsthroughout the ship. We highly recommend using these to avoid waiting in line.Room service is available 24 hours a day (charges apply during some hours). See themenu in your stateroom or interactive TV for details. Please recognize that the room servicestaff has limited capabilities. If you’re looking for a quick snack late at night, we highlyrecommend the Windjammer Cafe (see above), Cafe Promenade, or Sorrento's which are allopen almost 24-hours a day.Specialty Restaurant & ReservationsAllure offers several distinctive and original dining experiences. There are three terrificrestaurants on Central Park: Chops is an authentic steak house, with an open kitchen and warmclubby decor, Giovanni's Table features superb Italian food in a relaxed trattoria setting, andthe jewelbox-like 150 Central Park offers a brilliant and original multi-course tasting menu. For a real taste of Brazil, head to Samba Grill, our original churrascaria. Rita's Cantina on theBoardwalk is sure to be a hit with a fantastic margarita menu and regional Mexican specialities.Izumi offers sushi and other Asian specialities.Reservations are strongly encouraged, and may only be made for same day dining. Infairness to all our guests, reservations must be made in person, and only one reservation perstateroom will be accepted daily. These restaurants are not equipped to handle parties largerthan eight guests (and only a few tables are this size). Please respect these policies so that themaximum number of our guests may enjoy these unique dining experiences.Suite (Grand and above) guests may reserve in advance for up to three total visits perroom during the cruise through the Concierge. An extra fee applies for all specialty restaurants. Gratuities are included. Finally, please respect that we have limited space in these restaurants and a lot of guestswho want to enjoy them. If your plans change, please cancel your booking in a timely mannerso that we can accommodate another guest. Also, please respect your original request in termsof table size (don't show up with 8 guests when you book for 4!). Thank you.14 15
