Packing AdviceOn Board ClothingAtlantis emphasizes a casual, comfortable atmosphere with no specified dress code.Sportswear and casual resort attire are appropriate at all times. There are no formal nights, andabsolutely no need for a jacket and tie.As a courtesy to our other guests, we do ask that you refrain from wearing tank topsat dinner in the main restaurant -- we love your shoulders but it is dinner after all! It's justa suggestion, and the only true rule is that no tank tops or shorts are permitted in any of thespecialty restaurants. Please respect this rule for our premium dining experiences for all guests. On Shore ClothingIt will be hot & tropical for most of this cruise, so plan accordingly. We recommend loose, comfortable cottons or other lightweight clothing. A hat is useful. All of the ports are very casual, but you won't find locals wearing beachwear except to thebeach. We suggest casual resort-wear and very comfortable shoes. Some tours involve longbus rides and/or considerable walking so comfort is essential. Our Party ThemesOur theme parties might warrant something special, but these, of course, are alwaysoptional. You’ll be comfortable with or without a themed outfit. All listed events are outdoors, weather permitting.April Fools Party Anything goes at our tribute to the silliest holiday on the planet, wherenothing is quite like it seems. It’s a night of illogical fantasy filtered through your own sense ofhumor. Practical jokers and impractical outfits welcome.Thai Night Market A party with one simple rule. The only outfits allowed must be bought onthe streets (or stores) of Thailand’s markets as you explore Ko Samui and Bangkok. You'll findeverything from traditional to deliciously tacky. Think Mardi Gras, with an Asian sensibility. And you don't have to pack a thing!Bali Ha'i Celebrate the exotic spirit of Asia’s native heritage with a night under the stars of theSouth Pacific. Think island native wear, colorful pareos, grass skirts, Asian island traditional,or anything else that suits a tropical spirit. Or drop in as a roaming researcher.White Party Our biggest party of the week, in one simple color. It’ll be hot as we sailthrough Vietnam, so plan accordingly.Dog Tag T-Dance Now that our military members can come out to play, we thought it’s timefor a little creative interpretation of how cleverly military uniforms can be adapted. Civilianswelcome. Dog Tags provided.Revival Classic Disco T-Dance The spirit of the 70s returns for 2 zany hours of retro fun whenwe all had too much real hair and a fascination with artificial fabrics.Songkran Splash T-Dance Jump into a preview of the world’s wettest celebration with anoutdoor t-dance that’s guaranteed to soak you. Swimsuits and water-friendly gear essential.Cameras and phones a very bad idea. You’ll get wet!Miscellaneous Packing AdviceBring plenty of sunblock, as the sun will be deceptively intense. Also, bring your ownbasic toiletries as the onboard stores are not open when in port.Plan for uncertainty. Pack at least one change of clothes in your carry-on bags in case yourbags are lost or mishandled en route.Don't put your passport in your checked luggage!Prohibited ItemsPlease do not bring any of the following onboard, and do not place these items in yourchecked luggage. Irons (including travel irons), alcoholic beverages, knives, firearms, or anyother potentially dangerous item.If your luggage contains any of the above items, your bag will be held at security and willnot be delivered to your stateroom. Full details on prohibited items can be found in Celebrity'sGuest Conduct Policy.45

Getting ReadyWeather ForecastApril weather in Southeast Asia is usually warm, sometimes downright hot. And almostalways humid. You can expect high temperatures around 90˚F / 30˚C and lows around 70 F/20˚C. Rain is always a possibility, but we do our best to avoid it.Money MattersWe will be in four different countries, with four different currencies during this cruise. At thetime of this printing, the exchange rates were:29.7 Thai Baht = $1 US7.75 Hong Kong Dollars = $1 US1.25 Singapore Dollars = $1 US20,936 Vietnamese Dong = $1 US (wait until you spend a million dong on lunch!)You do not need to exchange money before you leave the U.S.A. as you can usually getbetter rates in the country of arrival. Our best advice is to use your ATM card to get the bestexchange rate for cash, and use credit cards for major purchases. Do not expect shops to acceptU.S. Dollars, although some stores in Vietnam might.BaggageMost airlines now charge for checked luggage, so plan accordingly. Check with yourcarrier for specific allowances. The standard limit is 50 lbs. per piece. Excess or overweightbags may incur a substantial surcharge.Do not place any valuables, especially your passport, in checked luggage. If you do so,it is at your own risk. Always keep your hand luggage with you. Please be sure each piece of luggage has a tag listing your name and complete address.Upon arrival at the pier, please make sure your bag it tagged with your stateroom number andname. Make sure that you tell the airline that you are boardingCelebrity Millennium, and tell them that the ship sails at 4:00 pm.2. Upon arrival on the ship, go immediately to the main reception where they will makea copy of your lost baggage report. The ship will attempt to track your luggage andfollow up directly with the airlines.3. Be patient. Depending on the airline it may arrive before we sail. Our port agents, inconcert with the ship, will attempt to deliver any lost luggage. If your luggage doesnot arrive, they will keep you informed with the latest news from your airline. Please realize that neither Celebrity nor Atlantis has lost your luggage. We can only assistyou in recovering your luggage from the airline and in communicating with them. Ultimately, the airline is responsible to you for any loss or inconvenience you encounter.6Check-In and EmbarkationThe Port in SingaporeWe will depart from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore. This beautiful new cruiseterminal is centrally located just minutes from the center of the city.
